This Teal Natural and Crimson Maori Flax Pikau Backpack is created from natural flax plus Teal strips, with a small amount of Crimson dyed harakeke (flax).  

Expertly Maori-made in New Zealand, the backpack measures approximately 49.5cm x 35cm (19 1/2' x 13 3/4').  The top opening measures approximately 30cm (10 1/4') in diameter.  So it is a generously sized pikau.

The top has a flax loop and beautiful paua shell toggle closure.   The natural flax straps are nice and long.  These backpacks are super comfortable to wear.

Lots of room for your shopping, school books, etc.  Perfect to replace single use plastic shopping bags.
